Audiophile Imports

Hey,

Has anyone ever ordered from that site? Its a great site in terms of cds but i was just wondering if they are efficient or if anyone had ever had any problems with them such as being cheated etc..
I live in Hong Kong By the way

i've ordered from them 6 or 7 different times, never been ripped off. i give them an average rating for efficiency

Incredibly long wait on 1 order [like, several months, to the point that you feel the need to e them...they did reply, but still another long wait...then the Vai/Astoria DVD arrived & it had "freezes"...I was very dissapointed & didn't send it back because I knew that contacting them about the prob, having them reply, getting it back there, & it coming back [if so] would be a ridiculously tortuous wait [img]frown.gif[/img] ...I have heard that they are but a 2 man op, but geez...

Then the Holdsworth Galaxy trio DVD came [ordered just b4 or around the same time as the Vai] & it had no freeze-ups, but it was a da** long wait also...

These were both last yr, but havent ordered from there since.

I have some question by e-mail to them they replied once and then not anymore so i didn't buy anything

If you place an order with Audiophile Imports, it would be a good idea to make sure they have the CD of interest in stock. If the CD is not in stock, you will be in for a long wait. This has been my experience with them.

ok because im looking to get the chick korea live at the blue note tokyo and its 38 audiophile and 48 on amazon so i was wondering which one...im prb gonna get it off amazon since i got a lot of negative feedback from audiophile imports..i'd rather pay the 10 extra bucks then have to wait ages and be unsure

I completely echo these same sentiments. Slow, slow, slow. My John Blakwell Jr. DVD took forever and a day to come in. Mark Tessier seems like a real good guy and always loves to talk shop about the greats at length with anyone. I don't think anyone beats them as far as finding the real hard to find stuff that we love so much.
